Today was a big day for Krisha.... as she managed to go to school all by herself... all alone from our house to her class....though we both were little apprehensive about the same.... but our brave little dynamite managed it well.....here's our conversation
krisha: mummy i can go alone
Ma: babu no..u r small...:(
krisha: "NO", i can... i use to travel alone in lifts in Mumbai....
Ma: their u could reach the buttons
Krisha: i can jump & touch...i m "GOING".."bye"
Ma: ok lets try
so i accompany her in lift... she's sad that i m not trusting her....so on reaching ground floor:
Krisha: now u go back...i can manage from here
Ma: ok i shall only drop u till the building gate & watch u from there....
Krisha: "NO"....plz
Ma: ok
so from here madam goes further & walks the garden ...and the lawn sprinkler and gets little wet with water :) and finally reaches her class safely....
both me & Akb were standing far behind and watching her travel her road alone, happily and with full confidence....,
had a feeling of proud "MA" after seeing her reach her destination safely passing all the hurdles....(though small as of now)
but it made me sure that we must "trust" our kids....its we who are the first teachers of life for them....
good lesson learned from my little one....
